Prebid Analytics – Quick Reference Guide
What is Prebid Analytics?
Prebid Analytics is the dashboard that is a part of the Sortable for Prebid solution. Sortable's Prebid Analytics plugs into your existing Prebid setup and provides you with the data you need to optimize your ad strategy and increase revenue. We provide two dashboards (Revenue and Partner) to track patterns in both yours and your partner's revenue, CPM, and various other criteria (both explained in greater detail below). You can also create custom reports to gain deeper insights into the performance of your ad stack.
Prebid Analytics can help you discover which demand partners are performing well and which ones have higher participation rates. And you can do all that right from our dashboards. When you want to go more in depth, you can create a report to your exact specifications and display the information in a table or in an easy-to-read graph. Your choice. Your data. The power of information is at your fingertips.
Access the Revenue dashboard from the Home screen; it is displayed by default. The Revenue dashboard is made up of nine (9) widgets with pre-generated charts that give you a quick, high-level assessment of your account’s performance.
Each widget shows the overall trends for the information available. To see a more in-depth view of the data, click to open the visualizer (view a larger set of the available information in graphs), or click to view the report (you can narrow or widen the criteria to view the exact information you want; opening the report does not impact the information displayed on the widget).
Every widget displays your time zone, when the widget was last refreshed, and the report's date range. Using these widgets, you can investigate (among others):
- the current value of your site's inventory
- how your revenue is distributed by device
- the distribution of CPMs for yesterday's bids
Requests, Bids, Won Bids and Impressions by Day
The top right widget displays your revenue, bids, won bids, and impressions for the last seven (7) days. Hover over any part of the line graph to see exact numbers for each criteria on specific dates.
Revenue by Site
The center left widget displays the revenue generated by site. If you have more than one site, this widget will appear in a table format. Hover over any part of the bar graph to see how much each site is making.
Revenue by Device
The center middle widget displays yesterday's revenue separated out by device. Hover over a part of the pie graph to see an exact dollar amount for any of the devices listed.
CPM by Device
The center right widget displays yesterday's gross CPM separated out by device type. Hover over any part of the bar graph to see the exact gross CPM for that device type.
Revenue by Format
The lower left widget displays the yesterday's net revenue for your account broken out by format. Hover over any point in the pie graph to get the exact net revenue per format.
CPM by Format
The lower middle widget displays yesterday's gross CPM broken out by format. Hover over any specific format in the bar graph to get the exact CPM for that format.
Bids by CPM Distribution
The lower right widget displays yesterday's top 10 (ten) bid ranges, ranked by CPM distribution. Hover over any specific CPM range in the bar graph to see how many bids were within that CPM range.
To access the Partner dashboard from the Home screen, click on the Partner Dashboard tab. The Partner dashboard is made up of five (5) widgets with pre-generated charts that allow you to track your demand partners' performance at a high level.

Using these widgets, you can investigate (among others):
- each of your demand partner's participation rates for yesterday
- which of your partner's latency rates need improvement
- whether each demand partner's revenue is on target or needs attention
Revenue by Partner
The top left widget displays yesterday's revenue sorted out by demand partner. Hover over any part of the graph to see exact dollar amounts for specific partners.
CPM by Partner
The top middle widget displays yesterday's top ten (10) partners by gross CPM. Hover over any specific format in the bar graph to get each partner's exact CPM dollar value.
Partner Participation Rate
The top right widget displays yesterday's top ten (10) participating partners. Hover over any specific bar in the bar graph to see each which partners are actively participating and bidding more often for your site.
Latency by Partner
The lower left widget displays yesterday's average time to respond for each of your demand partners. The graph is measured in milliseconds and you can hover each bar in the graph to discover the average time per partner.
The lower middle widget displays yesterday's lost opportunity revenue for your top ten (10) partners. Usually, this indicates that the partner won the auction but was outbid by Google. Hover over any of the bars in the bar graph to see a dollar value for each partner's losses. It shows what demand partners are contributing to your overall revenue.
In addition to the report widgets included in the two (2) dashboards, you can also create and save your own reports in Prebid Analytics.
If it isn't already visible, expand out the left menu and select Reports. To create a new report, select Create New Report; to run a previously saved report, select Saved Reports.
